Background

The establishment of Volunteer Vietnam
Volunteer Vietnam was founded by Viet Dang. Viet was an orphan himself when he was one year old. The difficult childhood made Viet have a dream to help others in need. Before founding Volunteer Vietnam, Viet worked as a volunteer teacher. He saw the tremendous benefits of volunteering; one can make the biggest changes to other people in need. Viet founded Volunteer Vietnam in 2004 and for the past years, the organization has placed around 1,500 international volunteers to work at the orphanages, social support centers and schools in Central Vietnam. The Volunteer Vietnam programs have contributed huge support to improve the lives for many disadvantaged people.
